The district is pleased to be able to offer targeted summer school programs for grade 7-12 students each year. Summer school includes opportunities for remediation, acceleration, credit recovery, and enrichment. Offerings vary based on an annual assessment of student needs. Programs may be in-person on a campus or offered via independent study online.

attendance

Mandatory first day class attendance day on June 7 for all programs.

Because summer courses cover extensive instructional content in a relatively short time period, students may not miss more than 8 hours of instruction; 8 hours equates to two full days of summer school.  Students will be dropped upon the 9th hour of absence, including being tardy more than 15 minutes counting as the 9th hour. - Board Policy 6177
