CSEA (California School Employees Association) Contract

The Personnel Commission is an independent board that oversees and regulates the administration of the District's Merit System. The Personnel Commission is responsible for the recruitment and selection of classified employees, the classification and pay relationships of different classified positions and the employee development programs.

The Personnel Commission is composed of three members. Commissioners must reside within the boundaries of the District. The Commission holds regular public meetings. For a list of these meetings and the Personnel Commission Rules, click on the links to the right.
