GOAL
The goal of our self-initiated One San Dieguito initiative is to build a stronger sense of inclusion and belonging among our students and across our district. One San Dieguito is a unifying initiative, meant to bring attention to the fact that while we are separate schools, we make up only one district. By encouraging a feeling of oneness across the district it is our goal to make every voice heard and every student feel validated and valued.
We at the San Dieguito Union High School District, are committed to being a leader for change within San Diego County by implementing a comprehensive, district-wide plan to equip students and district staff alike with the tools to speak out against instances of hate when they encounter them.
Through our partnership with the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC), the San Dieguito Union High School District has committed to training our district administration, faculty, staff and student ambassadors in various aspects of NCRC’s Communication, Culture and Conflict Resolution training series over the next two years.
