1- May Day: May Day is a public holiday celebrated on May 1 in many different cultures around the world. It is a day of unity, togetherness, and rebirth; a day for everyone to come together and celebrate life.
4-5 - Yom HaShoah/Holocaust Remembrance Day: This day is observed as Israel's day of commemoration for the approximately six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, and for the Jewish resistance in that period.
5 - Cinco de Mayo: A day commemorating the Mexican Army's 1862 victory over France, this day celebrates Mexican culture and heritage with a variety of festivities, including parades and mariachi music performances.
9 - Ascension Day: Celebrated as the ascension of Christ from Earth in the presence of God within most of the Christian faith
15 - Buddha Day (Vesak): A Buddhist festival that marks Gautama Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and death. Vesak is a holiday common to all Buddhists but is celebrated differently (and on different days) according to local customs.
17 - International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia: A global celebration of sexual orientation and gender diversities
21 - World Day for Cultural Diversity: UNESCO leads the celebration of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development highlighting the richness of the world’s cultures and the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.
29 - Ascension of Bahá’u’lláh: Commemorates the ascension of Bahá’u’lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í faith
