SDUHSD / CSEA Chapter #241 – Negotiation Update

Today marked the initial CSEA negotiation meeting for the 2025–2026 school year, which took place in a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Discussions focused on:
  • Article 11: Wages
      • Appendix B: Salary Schedule
      • Appendix C: Longevity Benefits
  • Article 12: Fringe Benefits

CSEA Proposal:
  • An ongoing 4% salary increase
  • A permanent "me too" clause
  • Increased longevity benefits at 35 and 40 years

District Counterproposal:
  • An ongoing 1% retroactive salary increase, effective July 1, 2025, aligned with certificated staff
  • No inclusion of "me too" language or longevity benefit changes

Outcomes:
  • CSEA rejected the District’s initial proposal
  • CSEA requested time to:
      • Review the Unaudited Actuals report in September
      • Gather member feedback
