Date: July 28, 2025
Today marked the initial CSEA negotiation meeting for the 2025–2026 school year, which took place in a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Discussions focused on:
- Article 11: Wages

- Appendix B: Salary Schedule
- Appendix C: Longevity Benefits

- Article 12: Fringe Benefits
CSEA Proposal:
- An ongoing 4% salary increase
- A permanent "me too" clause
- Increased longevity benefits at 35 and 40 years
District Counterproposal:
- An ongoing 1% retroactive salary increase, effective July 1, 2025, aligned with certificated staff
- No inclusion of "me too" language or longevity benefit changes
Outcomes:
- CSEA rejected the District’s initial proposal
- CSEA requested time to:
