SDUHSD Induction Program
SDIP Vision Statement
The San Dieguito Induction Program engages candidates in an individualized, job-embedded program focused on mentorship, reflection, and inquiry that promotes the support and growth of new teachers so that all students receive a high quality, equitable education.
SDIP Mission Statement
The mission of the San Dieguito Induction Program is to utilize the experience and abilities of our mentor team to provide individualized support and guidance for each and every new teacher while increasing teacher retention. This is done through a job-embedded program that uses inquiry and data analysis to determine best practices that accommodate the cultural, linguistic, socio-economic and academic diversity of our student population.
San Dieguito Union High School District Induction Program
The SDUHSD Induction Program provides formative assessment, individualized support and advanced content for newly-credentialed, beginning teachers and is the preferred pathway to a California Professional (Clear) Teaching Credential. The Induction program is co-administered by the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). The San Dieguito Union High School District Induction Program (SDIP) is currently one of 169 SB 2042-approved Induction Programs across California.
