Dr. Anne Staffieri was officially voted in as Superintendent of the San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) at the regular Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. 
 
Dr. Staffieri will begin her duties as the Superintendent on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the pending selection of seasoned educator, Dr. Anne Staffieri, as the new Superintendent contingent upon successful contract negotiations and final Board approval on May 17, 2023.

Special Board Workshop-Superintendent Search
On February 23rd at 5:00 p.m. the Board will meet with advisers from Education Support Services (ESS) to discuss the search plan, stakeholder engagement activities, timelines, and personnel-related matters surrounding the selection of a new superintendent. 
 
Coming Soon Stakeholder Engagement Activities – February 27-March 15th
Search Advisers, Dr. Suzette Lovely and Dr. Gary Rutherford will be scheduling meetings with a variety of stakeholder groups between February 27 and March 15, 2023, to gather staff, student, and community input surrounding the needs and ideal characteristics of SDUHSD’s next superintendent.

The Board of Trustees for the San Dieguito Union High School District (the “Board”) seeks a qualified consultant to provide assistance with a nationwide superintendent search to include the identification, recruitment, and screening of candidates for the position of Superintendent. The consultant services are to begin soon after the Board selects the firm. The successful consultant will work under the direction of the Board.
