Interdistrict Attendance Permits

 2025-2026 School Year

The Interdistrict Transfer process applies to those parents who wish their student to attend school in a district other than where they reside.  An approved interdistrict agreement must be in effect between the district of residence and the school district of desired attendance before a student can attend the desired school.

The San Dieguito Union High School District will start accepting interdistrict transfers for the 2025-26 school year from Monday, March 3, 2025, through Monday, May 5, 2025.

Please attach academic, attendance, and discipline records from the district your student is currently attending to the Interdistrict Attendance Permit application or your application will be considered incomplete.

The following procedures must be followed when requesting an Interdistrict Transfer Permit to attend school in the SDUHSD.  (See Board Policy 5117 - Interdistrict Attendance Permits and Administrative Regulation 5117 - Interdistrict Attendance Permits).
