An intradistrict transfer is an opportunity for families residing within the San Dieguito Union High School District attendance boundaries to apply for enrollment at a school other than their assigned residence school.
The 2024 -2025 Intradistrict Transfer window has closed.
An intradistrict transfer is when a parent/guardian wishes to enroll their student(s) at a San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area within the SDUHSD. The application window opened on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. and the deadline to apply was Monday, February 26, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

Your student’s designated school boundary is based on where you reside, not what elementary school your student presently attends. Please check the district’s school locator boundary map for your boundary school.

- If you have moved, please inform your current school(s) of your new address, and school staff will give you instructions on how to proceed if you would like your student(s) to remain at the school they are currently attending.
Una transferencia dentro del distrito es cuando un padre/tutor desea inscribir a su(s) estudiante(s) en una escuela del Distrito de Escuelas Secundarias de la Unión de San Dieguito (SDUHSD) que no sea la escuela designada que se encuentra en su área de asistencia dentro del SDUHSD. La fecha límite para aplicar es el lunes, 26 de febrero de 2024 a las 4:00 p.m.

The intradistrict transfer application window for the 2024-25 school year closed on February 26, 2024. However, an interest list has been opened for eligible students who may be interested in attending a school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area within the district for the 2024-25 school year. Should space become available, students will be chosen from this interest list and will be reviewed on Monday, August 5, 2024.
Please note that Pacific Trails and Torrey Pines are at capacity and will remain closed to transfers for the 2024-2025 school year and will not be an option for the interest list. In addition, our academies cannot be selected through the intradistrict transfer process. Please see our website for more information about the Academy Interest lists.
